Biography

PRADA (Santiago Prada) is a Colombian DJ and producer, born in Palmira and based in Cali. His connection with music was born out of 80s rock, shaped by synthesizers, electronic textures and intense kicks. His evolution led him deeper into Latin American electronic music, finding inspiration in figures such as Jorge González (frontman of Los Prisioneros) and Ricardo Villalobos. That influence forged a sonic identity focused on curating the groove and controlled tension on the floor. His sets unfold mainly between 126 and 128 BPM, exploring minimal, deep house, electro and acid house with an enveloping, elegant narrative; he builds with precision, prioritising track selection and flow in every transition. He is part of the Fungus Records label. He has taken his project to stages in Cali, Bogotá, Medellín and Pereira, and has performed internationally with four shows in Adelaide, Australia. His sound is aimed at underground clubs, festivals, brands and private events seeking a solid, contemporary sonic identity.
