Biography

OZKAYR is a musical project based in Palmira, Colombia, focused on fusing the force of techno with hypnotic sounds, organic percussion and plenty of groove. Their sound proposes a relentless cadence and a physical trance that won't let you stop dancing.

OZKAYR is a techno duo originally from Palmira, Colombia, made up of Óscar Pérez and Zair Medina. The project was born out of a love for music and the wish to share the way they perceive and understand it. They build their identity on the force of pure techno combined with percussion full of movement and hypnotic synthesizers, resulting in an irresistible rhythmic balance that drives people to dance. Throughout their journey as DJs they have played at events by important collectives in the city, such as Only Session and GOAT Collective, who have given them the chance to show their sound to the crowd. They played the closing activation set of FRAGMENTS 2026, one of Only Session's own anniversary events.
